PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
0 - 1/4" Plain Fir Bark is an organic soil amendment consisting of 98% fir bark. It is screened at 1/4" to provide a range of particle sizes which provide plant support and increase soil aeration. It is a rich brown color with a fresh forest fragrance.

PRODUCT USES:
0 - 1/4" Plain Fir Bark is recommended for use as attractive, dark-colored mulch for smaller planting areas or as a long-lasting organic soil conditioner when blended into existing soils. It can also be a blended component of soil mixes for potted plants.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
When used as mulch, apply 0 - 1/4" Plain Fir Bark to a depth of 2" to 4". When mixing into existing soil, incorporate 1 part 0 - 1/4" Plain Fir Bark into 3 parts soil. When used as a backfill for trees and shrubs, mix 1 part 0 - 1/4" Plain Fir Bark with 2 parts soil.
