PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Nitrolized Douglas Fir Shavings are made from a byproduct of the lumber industry. The shavings are nitrolized in a process which utilizes a stabilized nitrogen source. When Nitrolized Douglas Fir Shavings are mixed into the soil, water and nutrient retention are improved. In addition, soil particle separation and aeration are enhanced, thus reducing compaction.

PRODUCT USES:
Nitrolized Douglas Fir Shavings can be used to amend existing soil for turf installation or in general planting areas.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
For amending areas to be planted with turf, incorporate 2" to 4" of Nitrolized Douglas Fir Shavings into existing soil and rotor till to a depth of 4" to 6". For general use such as flower beds or backfilling trees and shrubs, mix 2 parts existing soil with 1 part Nitrolized Douglas Fir Shavings.
