PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
San Diego Select Topsoil is a 50/50 blend of sandy loam topsoil amended with organic components consisting of long lasting Lifelike 3/8" Compost, perlite, peat moss, coir, and redwood shavings. This mixture of mineral and organic soil components provides exceptional plant support and enhanced nutrient-holding capabilities, as well as beneficial humus for plant growth and development.

PRODUCT USES:
BH San Diego Select Topsoil is recommended for use in raised beds, planters, vegetable beds, backfill for trees and shrubs or an all purpose soil.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
San Diego Select may be applied to existing native soil by rotor-tilling a 2" layer 2" to 4" into the existing soil. (This rotor-tilled layer is important as it establishes a transition zone.) A final layer of 4" may then be applied to the rotortilled surface. This soil may also be applied directly into excavated areas. A pre-plant fertilizer is recommended.
