DG 3/8" Screened

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Granite Rock that has decomposed and mineralized over a long period of time. Mined locally in San Diego County and screened over a 3/8" screen leaving 3/8" and finer particles as the final product.
Decomposed Granite 3/8" Minus will have a gravelly soil appearance. The color will depend on the area being mined, usually ranges from brown to gray at our local material mine. Decomposed Granite has excellent compaction along with excellent drainage properties.

PRODUCT USES:
3/8" Minus Decomposed Granite can be used as a pathway or track material, as well as foundation fill, for driveways, a base for rock and pave stones, bike trails, xeri-scaping, botanical gardens, low maintenance ground cover, and as a soil medium for cactus. The color will add to aesthetics, while providing the stability and drainage properties of decomposed granite.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
It is recommended that 3/8" Minus Decomposed Granite be applied to a depth of 4" in a contained border and compacted for a pathway or running track. As a soil medium for your Cactus garden, mix with Lifelike 3/8" Compost and back fill the planting holes.
