PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Small Decorative Bark is an attractive blend of fir and pine bark and includes very little sapwood. The uniformly-sized nuggets are a rich brownish-red color; 1/2" to 1" in diameter, and have a fresh forest fragrance.

PRODUCT USES:
Small Decorative Bark is recommended for use as mulch in medium to large planting areas and potted plants. It can also be used as a general ground cover for a colorful finished look to bare ground. When used as a ground cover under shrubs and trees or bare ground, Small Decorative Bark helps to conserve water, lower soil temperature, and reduce weed growth.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
Recommended application rate is a minimum of 2" to 4" deep. Pre application of a balanced fertilizer or Lifelike 3/8" compost in planted areas is recommended to prevent nitrogen draw from the soil as the bark decomposes.
