PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Shredded Redwood Bark is comprised of 100% Redwood. It is dark reddish brown in color and emanates a fresh forest fragrance. Because of its stringy and fibrous appearance, Shredded Redwood Bark is commonly referred to as "Gorilla Hair".

PRODUCT USES:
Shredded Redwood Bark is excellent mulch for walkways, planting areas, and banks. Because of its stringy texture, Shredded Redwood Bark is commonly used for erosion control. Its attractive appearance can enhance any planting area. When used as mulch, it helps to conserve water, lower soil temperature, and inhibit weed growth.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
The recommended application rate of Shredded Redwood Bark is a minimum 2" to 4" deep. When used as a garden mulch a 2" pre-application of Lifelike 3/8" compost will help avoid nitrogen draw from raw bark.

PRODUCT ANALYSIS:
Particle size: 1" - 3" wide*
