PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Eco Wood Mulch is a byproduct of the Lumber-industry. Derived from Oak, Poplar, Bass, Fir, & Pine Lumber, it contains no particle board, plywood, or trash and is ground to approximately 1" wide by up to 3" long. A light tan color, Eco Wood Mulch is an economical alternative to more costly decorative barks.

PRODUCT USES:
Eco Wood Mulch is recommended for use as an economical and decorative ground cover. When used under shrubs and trees, Eco Wood helps to conserve water, lower soil temperature, and reduce weed growth and control erosion.
Eco Wood has also been used on various Cal Trans projects for erosion control.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
Recommended application for Eco Wood is 2" to 4" deep. When used as a ground cover in planted areas an application of fertilizer or Lifelike 3/8" Compost is recommended to avoid nitrogen draw from raw wood or bark decomposition. Fertilizer or compost is not required on pathways or when used for weed suppression since plant vitality is not desired in these areas.
